Our mission is to provide veterans dealing with PTSD an opportunity to become an Ultralight Pilot and a Certified Light Sport Pilot through pilot training and building Ultralight and Light Sport aircraft.

Vision Statement

The vision of The US Veterans Wounded Wings Project is to grow into a Local and National Organization of veterans building, training and flying Ultralight and Light Sport Aircraft and organizing expeditions and flyins throughout the United States.

β€œOne of the most effective ways to help veterans who struggle with PTSD is to provide them with opportunities to participate in social events. Social events can help veterans connect with other people who have shared similar experiences, build friendships, and reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.”
